Product Care
GORSKI products are luxurious, elegant, and tailored using high end materials, intricate fabrication, and details. Given proper care, your GORSKI garment will maintain its appeal for many years.
For cashmere coats and accessories: entrust to a fine cleaner. Use a low temperature process with no petroleum based or harsh solvents.
Après-Ski jackets: hand clean for optimal results, using a warm cloth and mild detergent. Avoid commercial petroleum-based solvents. Hang to air dry, avoiding commercial dryers and hot temperatures over 70 Fahrenheit. Remove detachable fur and leather belts and protect metal accessories for best results.
Some garments are made using select fur pelts or trim. To enjoy you fur for years, we recommend servicing, with annual cleaning and conditioning by a professional furrier. Store your fur over the summer in a humidity controlled cold fur storage facility.
If you elect to store your garment at home, please use an appropriate closet which is cool, and humidity controlled. Use a broad-shouldered hanger, allowing garment to drape. Do not use a narrow or wire hanger. Allow space for air circulation. Do not store in a plastic or synthetic garment bag. Direct sunlight and/or heat will cause drying and color fading. If the fur becomes soaked or overly wet, bring it for immediate care to a qualified fur specialist. Remove or cover any accessories (i.e., belts, buckles) before the cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals. Professional cleaning is always recommended.
